Default eg suspension into ef

so my original plan was to get some eg forks to put onto my hatch so i could install some blox coilovers (yes some may not like my decision with blox but i have a good deal and they dont make it for efs)

i've read through some threads and if i'm correct, putting eg suspension will actually RAISE my car height? is this true? because this i not what i want haha.

its true because if you compare ef and eg struts, eg struts are longer. but since you have coilovers you should be able to lower your car to the way you want.

i have 94+ integra kyb agx on my crx with coilover sleeves and all i had to do was use and eg fork and adjust them rides a little bit stiffer than my old ef setup.

hmmm thanks for the replies. i was just thinking since the eg suspension would make my ride higher, even if i adjusted the coilovers, i wouldnt end up being as low as i wanted to.

right now im deciding between switching to eg suspension or just getting some function & form type 1's for an ef. remember im planning to dump this car too. any input?

ef forks will not fit the 92+ civic shocks or 94+integra.
i have koni/gc made for the EG, i'm using the EG forks and i notice that i have very little camber. ( ghetto 1finger gap all around )

you can go lower right?

i think i might go with the eg forks and skunk2 pro-s for eg for the stiffness. i'm guessing i'll still be able to dump it.

anymore info before i order some? anyone think i should just go with function & form type 1's?

i thing f&f are better in heavier cars like the 96-00 civic and integras. pro-s are the better route to put on efs.

if youre getting pro-s for an eg chassis then you would need the eg fork and the rear shocks should fit the same as efs if you still have your stock lcas. since youre getting a new suspension setup i would suggest upgrading your rear lcas as well. [assuming you still have the stock boys]

Just get the right suspension for your car! There is no advantage to using the eg stuff. They both use the same spring rates and I doubt the valving is much different.

Anyone know if an EG rear toe adjuster (compensator) will fit an EF? Also how about the rear camber adjuster arm for EG to EF.

I have a few EG parts laying around, and I'm thinking of getting an EF.

thanks!

well i ended up just getting f&f type 1's for the ef, and the ride is really comfortable. the rears go stupid low, but are too soft for me. on the lowest setting, the rears rub against the top of the wheel well when i go over fat lumps or sharp turns. so i raised it. the fronts don't go as low as i wished :[ it only covers up the gaps, doesn't tuck tire. i want a new setup ahha.

I'm using eg suspension on a 89 ef sedan and I got the front drop forks and it goes so low you can't even drive the car .. I have some pictures of the ride as it sits now

I have JIC Majic coilovers right now and I must say these are the best by far that I have had and they are rebuildable in the USA. But to get this straight if I want to switch the JIC coilovers I have on my EG and put them on the EF I have to use the Front Forks on the EG and move them to the EF as well?
