i have had dirt bike headers dented like that that fixed quite well for free. Find access to a large freezer, fill header with water, (no need to cap ends more than enough to keep water from leaking out) and allow to expand. A lot of times the first freezing wont do much, but the 2nd and 3rd will do a great deal.

You can also cap the ends and rig a valve stem on one of the caps, apply low pressure (15 psi) and then SLOWLY and CAREFULLY heat with a torch, Be ready to release pressure as soon as it evens out.

I have done both and both work quite well. For caps I have used rubber bent around and hose clamped in place. With a friend the torch method is easier because a blow tip inserted into a simple hole in the rubber can apply pressure while area being heated. This way the pressure can be released immediatley once the header moves into place.

good luck, post pictures if you decide to try either of these.

I really don't understand how headers get dented so badly. When you install the header you know how low it sits. If you are responsible, you won't let it hit on anything.

Yeah but sometimes you can't help it. When I bought my hatch there was a LoveFab header on there and it's a 4-1 header. Even on the highway it still scraped on the ground this was with OE sport H&R on Koni Yellows. It happens but the ITR header seems to hang REALLY low compared to my lovefab.

Apparently you havent driven on So Cal freeways... That with a lowered car with small clearance=header smash. Thats why I have a SMSP header now.

I have had a genuine ITR header for over a year and have yet to scrape it.
