Just wondering if anyone out there has used ppg dc3000 clear? I picked up a gallon of it and a quart of activator for free. I mostly use Dupont products but i figured since it was free why not try it out. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

its a fast drying clear....i used it at school for parts that HAD to be done that day. i liked the clear. really easy to shoot. (1.3 tip used). if i still have the PPG sheet on it i can put up the specs and what not.

 

That would be cool. Roughly what is air dry time? And how many coats did you do?

 

i did about 2 coats with 3-5 min flash time in a 70 degree booth.
