axle blew cause car is to low ?
so i was at auto x and took a corner hard and my car started makeing this terable clicking sound when i acelerated (sounded like a loose wheel or cv axle) i took the tire off and looked around everything looked good no ripped cv boots everything was tight so i thought maybe it was the wheel bearing but i have no idea how to check that so i took it to acura . they just called me back and said that my front driver side axle is fawked and that it piled up cause my car is to low for the axle to rotate properly and that its binding.
my question to you guys is if in fact my car is to low or was it a shity axle that was on its way out and from the stress of auto x it finally gave way ? keep in mind that before this noise started it drove fine and i had no problems with the axle clicking when i turn and stuff
and i was just wondering if any one else has had simular problem
thx for your input
here is a pic of how low my car is

Yes, the axles are under stress just sitting there let a lone driving and autoxing at that height. 1 finger gap is usually good but you might find yourself still replacing axles every once in a while so be prepared.

yeah i go like 40 everywere stay off the ring road and i cannot go over any speed bumps lol im a idiot but i love how it looks dumped . but i will be lifting it back up probly 2 finger's lol maybe ill do beter at auto x i thought if you car was lower it handles beter
Also, to keep the boots from riping you might want to look into greasing them up to keep them from drying up. It's supposed to help lengthen the life of the boots. Search for it here on honda-tech, there's a specific grease/lube that's used.
Your car is too low. You are not even using your suspension hardly at all at that height. Raise it up, and I guarantee your AutoX times will improve, you will not go thru axles so quickly, your undercarriage will stop taking a beating and you will not look like a ricer at the end of the day.
