Default noob question

i have a 91 dx hatch and just put a new radiator and thermostat in it. is there a certain type of coolant i should use?

run green stuff. non of that other colored stuff works out good. just run the stuff you have to mix your self screw that 50/50 you get ripped off.

any of the green stuff will work. don't use the gm delco orange stuff. it eats headgaskets i'm told..

If you do mix your own, make sure you use distilled water.

yeah that gm stuff is wicked and you should never mix it with any other type of coolant. They guys are right with everything they have said and will not steer you wrong. p.s. you guys rock.

and yes i worked at a shop and the delco orange crap is vicous to gaskets!!!

in general coolants of different colors shouldnt me mixed. Make sure you flush your system thoroughly and use distilled water if at all possible.
