sounds normal to me - are they new? if so they will break in a bit. If your dash rattles - just pull the parts out that are rattling, put some foam tape on the offending parts and reattach - no more rattles.

when using hasport mounts you need to bend down the rear crossmember lip. if you don't then it might rub..i think that's what he was sayin

right here, swapped my motor 2 weeks ago, still rattles like hell, makes my cd player skip at a stop. Ben aka Rioninja, had the idea to move the front crossmember mount brackets over a tad bit, weld them in place and use the stock front mount, which should help with the vibration, as soon as we get it done in my car ill write up a little summary with hopefully some pics and let you know how well it worked.

I have the mounts and they vibrate but not enough to make my cd xkip but they do vibrate. You might have the race style polyurethane inserts rather than the street ones. Just a thought.

My car rattles like hell too. I tried to get the installer to notch the rear xmember, but he didnt think it was necessary( ). My car is idling so high that it reduces the vibration, but when the idle drops to 1k rpm, it is annoying as hell.

notching the rear crossmember is only to prevent the rear mount from hitting the crossmember thus causing a louder vibration sound it wouldn't cause the car to shake more... does the car vibrate like that just sitting there or while driving??

mine doesn't vibrate at all.... i took out the front mount bracket completely. used hasports old mounts, and banged the rear x member lip down.... it runs sweet... just have to figure out what happened to my fuel pressure and why my timeing cover rattles.....

I have the HaSport kit. My car rattles at low idle but otherwise I can't be happier with them. Are these mounts "solid" mounts. That can contribute to rattling. I used to have prothane mount inserts on my D16 and it rattled like hell, "solid" mounts have no room for play so the motor just rattles the whole car. I'd sacrafice the rattling so that the motor doesn't flex so much while racing.
