just put in a new longblock b18b1 and i hear ticking noise from the spark plug hole nearest to the distributor and very slight ticking from the furthest to the right of the distributor. why is it doing that? its louder if i press in a little on the spark plug wires. also when i would touch the spark plugs to the distributor i would get shock also. so what are the causes for this?

My brother had the same problem in his 92 si prelude, with the h23... turns out that his spark plugs werent actually threading in all the way, because the threads in the head were stripped... We got a tool at our local autozone and someone there helped us fix it.. Maybe look into that...
