Default is it worth it?

is it worth buyin an intake manifold? or is it a waste of time? i have a 421manifold-decatted straighthrew to my backbox....

debaiting the intake mani? will ill increase bhp ro just make the engine bay a tad more shinnier

Depends on the set-up. In forced induction makes a huge difference.

NA you won't see much gain on a D series. Spend the money on boost parts or save up for a swap.

its getting Tubbied asap then when im like 21 ill be getting a b16 or b18 cos of the insurance....

Insurance doesn't matter. They don't know about an engine swap.

It won't matter they don't check engine codes nor know the difference. They don't even ask if you have a motor swap nor do they care. Now if you wreck they won't pay for your swap unless you have is listed as a modification. Some don't cover modifications anyways and others that do usually require a policy addition for extra coverage. So unless you want extra coverage (which will cost more) then swap away.

i think it might be slightly different mate over in america..... here your suppose to declare any type of modification to your car so even just changing your rear light to aftermaket ones or just putting a backbox on.... so engine swap may need to be stated .

haha na man im from the UK if your found to have cheated the system i.e if you crash and seriously injure someone and you havent declared anything you are liable to be sued! you lot have got it sorted with cars lol here is ****...
