Default Freshly Built ls Problem?

well i have a built ls, full crower valvetrain, valves, retainers, springs, crower 404 cams, mild port and polished head, slight over bore on block to 81.5mm with itr pistons, knife edged crank and full exaust. well i dont think one of the piston rings seated properly? it is burning oil and i there is some blow by. all gaskets and piston rings are new. the motor has about 600 miles on it. i am suppose to get it tuned this thursday. will the ring seat by it self? or what? im not sure what to do. thanks

Are the valve seals new as well? It already has a lot of miles on it, but try to put a load on the engine and bog it in 3rd. It may be too late if the rings didn't seat right but it's worth a shot

at 600 miles they should have seated properly by now if not you probably have a problem.
