Default 99 DX Hatchback 98 D16Y8 Wiring harness Problem

So I installed the motor and harness with the ECU onto my 99 Hatchback and now there seems to be an extra plug for the ECU and I dont kno were to put it.

Also there is no fuel going to the motor, the AUTOMATIC shift light on the dash stay's on 2nd Gear.

you cant use that harness. The obd2a harness you have wired up has 3 ecu plugs. The obd2b harness, which should be in your car, has only 2 ecu plugs on the harness. The third ecu plug, is the one you have left over in the picture.

Cliffs: Get the right harness (obd2b 99-00)

you will need to rewire the IACV, and add whatever wires you need for vtec. Everything else will be the same.

OP doesn't need to do any wiring modifications for the IACV, the automatic Y8s use the same 3 wire IACV as all Y7s.

To the OP, either reuse your stock DX harness and add the vtec wiring, or pick up a '99 - '00 EX automatic harness and use that, you must also use an automatic '99 - '00 P2P ECU.
