Eh...I don't know, I wouldn't be to broken up about it. His vehicle description is a laundry list of everything that's ****ed up. Which is good, at least he's being honest and not trying to play it off like it's some trophy winner but....

at the end of the day, with the money you'd dump into basically reversing most of the things he's done, you could probably find a better ITR. The blown motor at such low miles and the fact that the trans is pretty much toast is enough of a turn off for me, this thing hasn't had an easy life.

You can make a claim w/ ebay. You won the auction, the car should be yours. Good luck!

yeah but it a bogus move on his part. i am an acura technician and can fix all the mechanical and electrical problems of car. i can get parts at close to cost so. i thought it was a good deal until this happens.

i'll see what he say. planned to make it a vacation week and drive that car back. i guess i can almost scratch that

It is a bogus move on his part but it also may be a blessing that you aren't getting it. Like someone else said, for the money you would be dumping into that thing you could get an R in better shape.

I would at LEAST make a claim with Ebay. Even if you don't get the car, or is a blessing in disguise... it's still not right what he did.

If you won the auction and he had no reserve set than you are legally entitled to the vehicle according to eBay's auction rules. File a claim with eBay.

Just because someone has zero feedback doesn't mean anything- I have my R on eBay right now and I have zero feedback, and I can definitely support the fact that I am not a scammer.

Maybe he was disappointed with the low priced it fetched and is trying to squeeze a little more out of you by saying he's got someone else on it at a higher price; getting you to bid against yourself. I say call his bluff... If he actually does have it sold for a higher price, then let someone else deal with the headaches this car will undoubtedly cause. If his other buyer mysteriously disappears, and you do have a shot at it, I'd say 6k is all the money on it. Go down there with 5 grand in your hand and see what you can do...

If the car has that many problems just count your blessings and find a better car...

your better off spending 2-3k more and getting a car that hasnt been to hell and back...

I agree. That user on ebay had 0 feedback so I bet he/she won't care if any action was taken. Probably seeing how much he/she could get for it >.<

The car looks fairly complete for the price. If your able to perform all the work yourself it would be worth it. Needs body work, a tranny rebuild, a new front end, paint, etc.

But if the seller is backing out anyway, I would NOT buy. He probably was hoping for 10-12k.
