New paint sealant / wax questions & reccomendations.
My car is being painted right now with Sikkens milano red base/clear and I should have it back monday or tuesday. So right now, im planning ahead for how to care for the paintjob properly. The first product that has caught my eye and wondering if its reccomended is Wolfgang Deep Gloss paint sealant 3.0. Is this as good of a product as they describe it and is it truely worth it? Looking at autogeek btw.
I would be applying it by hand since I dont have a DA right now or any polisher for that matter, would it be worth picking up a cheap polisher just to do simple jobs like buffing out the sealant? I would probably apply it all by hand and want to remove it with the polisher, but I may just buff it off by hand as well if its not a really huge task, ive never used any sealant on a car before so thats why im asking.
I was also looking at Meguiar’s #21 Synthetic Sealant 2.0 which you get 64oz for the same price as the 16oz wolfgang, is there that much difference in the general quality outcome?
And if the wolfgang stuff isnt worth it or theres something better for around the same price ($39.99 for a 16oz bottle) then lmk and why.
Also how many applications will I get with the 16oz bottle applying a thin even layer on the entire car?
And yes I know to give it 60 days or so before applying any wax or sealant, i plan to let it cure properly. The car is garage kept during most of the day/night as well.
Thanks in advance from a detailing n00b.

Hows this cart looking for the first time I wash and seal my new paintjob after i wait about 2 months? Already got buckets/nozzle/meguiars gold glass shampoo and probably use invisible glass on all the glass, mequiars all wheel cleaner/mequires tire shine, just needed to get a few decent products for washing/drying and then for the sealant. Im really interested in getting the best out of the paintjob and the cars exterior appearance and I realize that will partly come down to the products I buy.
onr is optimum no rinse. and you dont use qder before drying the car, use it while drying the car, it helps prevent marring the paint and helps remove water
Ahh ok gotcha, I dont plan to use onr but I was thinking as using it dilluted in a spray bottle as a presoak for dirtier area's to loosen up the big stuff if there is any before the actual wash, if that would make a difference.
