rod difference? a6-z6-dohc zc
like the title says, is there any difference in strength between the a6, z6, and DOHC ZC rods? i noticed that the casting marks are different between the three of them.
all look to be cast the same, have the same bore and stroke, but also have different letters next to where they bolt up to the crank shaft.
thanks in advance!!
- on the a6 rods, one side has the number 6 on it with a line on the under the six and a single dot on the other side,
- the zc rods have the same number six with the line but three dots on the other side,
- while the z6 rods have the number six with a line under them but no dots on the other side.

As far as I can tell from the different blocks laying around here the casting marks vary from engine to engine. Perhaps from different machines performing the casting, however the strength, design, and overall durability is the same for all d-series (excluding the d17 of course)
