Default Help with my 94' civic ex

Hmmm...well the first thing first is that when i shift from 2nd gear into 3rd, you hear grinding noise, even at a low rpm like around 1500. Shifting from 3rd to 4th also has the same problem, but ive noticed that 1st, 2nd, and 5th doesnt make any noises. Is this the tranny problem or Clutch slave cylinder?
Also another problem ive been having would be, that whenever i step on the gas pedal, my car doesnt seem to be going any faster, feels like something is holding it back. Please help me with my problems and give me a full feedback on what it is?

I would say its your gear syncros. And for stomping on the gas and not going anywhere check your throttle cable make sure it gets pulled tight all the way when the pedal is down all the way.

For the gear grinding, try draining the tranny fluid and refilling with Honda MTF.

Regarding stepping on the gas and not accelerating, the clutch may be slipping (=replace the clutch).

But somehow my friend says its either the tranny or the clutch slave cylinder? Since its just grinding on the 3rd gear, the tranny might now be the problem? what would be the easiest way for me to try, in order to check whats the real problem? i might try flushing out the tranny, then replacing it with new ones, but for the gear syncros, whats that?

gear syncros are in your transmission and wear out commonly when people don't use there clutch to shift or can't drive for the life of themselves.
