Default make my brakes more *touchy*

i have a 92 cx hb, and the brakes are very *non touchy*
i drove many other same cars and way more touchy.
i bought some new rotors(crossdrilled, sloted) and pads and broke it all in correctly.
the still are not touchy.
it takes a lot of pedal movement to get any power and it feels more mushy than otehrs.
thanx(in advance)

the reason they are not "touchy" or wateve ryou call them is because of the puny master cylinder that the cx comes with. If I remember correctly, a cx master cylinder is only 13/16". The cross drilled rotors or pads that you installed will do nothing in feel for your brakes. If you really want them to be more responsive, get a integra master cylinder, GSR/ITR master cylinders are slightly larger and will make your brakes very very responsive. I have gsr master cylinder and i barely tap the brakes and it responds very quickly. The LS master cylinder is slightly smaller, but adequate for a civic.
One thing though, with integra master cylinders, you ahve to replace the brake booster also, and have to bend the brake lines slightly and flare it out again. If you want to skip all that hassle, just get a civic ex master cylinder, Im not sure how big it is, but its definatley bigger than a cx one. Hope that helps.

he doesnt need a new m/c or booster or proportioner for those stock brakes..bleed the brakes..get good fluid..stainless steel lines..some good pads..and some brembo blanks in front..also..adjust the rear drums

I was gonna say bleed them and put in all new fluid (obviously ) and if they don't get any better then you'd need lines or the cyl... My LX has some pretty touchy brakes and they're stock, so I think all you realy need is to bleed them, did you use two ppl? it's WAY easier if you do it with 2 ppl and it gets done a little better...
