alright so need to pick a brain. the car has a lot of miles but still runs strong. its never had any sign of transmission problems until the day i changed the main ground cable. the car jumped back to life with the new ground, all lights were brighter, and the dash seemed more accurate. i took the car out and it was fine for about a half hour the the trans slipped at a light. i pulled over, tried to diagnose. flushed fluid, checked all connections, blah blah. heres the screwy part. when it slips u can pull the car over, park, and restart, and it will go back through the gears fine to get u up to speed. after about 2 mi its starts slipping again or ur next stop. now on the restart the car is in park and i immediately restart, no time 4 cooling, and it acts ok. so what do u think? the only thing that changed was the ground.

 

Does the D light blink when it has a problem. Sounds like possible TCM problem. More info please.

 

nope no lights or codes even changed out ecu and tranny comp. also checked solenoids they're good. could this just be a f'd up co-ink-a-dink?
