Default Pre-wired Stuff

I own a 92 Euro spec EG and while tearing out my carpet I noticed there were many pre-wied plugs that just led nowhere. There were some wires that ran under both driver and passenger seats, and under my center consel there were three! What are they for? And if they just pre-wire them for higher trims would they have any power running through them? I belive I have a VX but can really tell cause the trims here in Europe are different. Please help

Oooh! A mystery! My favourite type!

Tell me what wire colours you have found, and where you found them. I will decode for you.

Also, I would love to see some pictures. Wires, where they run, and connectors.

Sweet!

The trim levels in Europe go like this: DX, VEi, LSi, ESi, VTi
The trim levels are loosely comparable like this: The EDM DX is like a CX (sorta), the VEi is like a VX, the LSi is like a USDM DX, the ESi is like an Si. The top of the line VTi doesn't really have an equivalent.

If you can get some pictures up we could probably decipher them better. I have a base CX and i have wires for power folding mirrors, cruise control, sunroof, etc etc etc. took me forever to figure everything out.

You shouldn't, theres very little prewired in USDM civics. If its a 5th gen the clock and tach are prewired, but none of the stuff you mentioned is.

/\ i thought so too. but i have oem wiring for my sidemarkers, for my power windows and locks, and power folding mirrors. Im guessing the guy i got the car from swapped it obviously, but as stated before, it took me forever to figure out why there were so many plugs everywhere.

yea i hope i have a prewiring for maybe the fog lights. There's a switch for them in my dash that controls the rear fog light; maybe il get lucky. I even have a switch that controls the angle of my headlights that i play around everytime im driving down the road. I barely makes a difference with the angle but their pretty cool.

Aircon is pre wired in all EDM Civics...

The rest is depending on your exact trim...
