i got a jdm h22 sittin in my garage and the little black box under the im is broken i thought i saw somewhere in a swap guide that you can do without this, and i also read that it helps with low end torque....do i need this box? its a jdm h22a into a cb7 w/p13 ecu

and then will any h22 intake fit into the cb chassis?

 

oh yea and i also read the oil pressure sensor plugs vary from the h22 to the f22...im half retarded and i cant find the oil pressure sensor?? is it in the head above the trans in betweeen the the coolant hoses?

 

That the IAB vacuum reservoir. If its broken, you can take it out. A lot of guys are running the IAB diaphram hose directly to manifold vacuum.

 

I would not run the hose to the intake that just closes the butterflies in the intake just leave the vacuum hose off the valve completely and plug them off at the intake you will be fine not enough tourqe lose that you would even notice . The oil pressure sensor is located under the oil filter on the f22 it plugs on one wire and on the h22 its a screw either one will work just depends on what wiring harness you use and they read the same good luck.
