Does your intake have the hose that goes from the valve cover to the intake. Some people put little filters on their valve covers if they don't have them.
The PCV is for ventilation for the block but I have heard that the valve cover hose can set it off. Try replacing your pcv valve as well I guess. It is on the left of your intake manifold if you are looking at it from up top and is grey

I found a good pic that shows it. It is on the left of the valve cover to the intake, red hose.

i don't see an IAT sensor, is that a problem?
that is the only hose going in or out of the intake...
i don't know what this is for, but only one of the passage way is used. the hose from the valve cover goes into this thing but does not go into anything, just a open end.
this two pics are where the hose connect that goes into the Black steel connector mention above...
and all this setup is already like this when i bought the car, so i don't know what is correct and what is not. Anybody can tell me what is wrong and what i have to do?
also,
that is the hose for the PCV, is that correct? when failed smog, description said "PCV Modified"
any advice on this as well?

1st pic is overview
2nd pic show the only hose that goes in or out of the intake.
3rd pic: i don't know what that black thingy is for, has two passage ways but only one is in use. the top passage for that black thingy is connected to the hose from the valve cover, but connects to nothing the other end (open ended).
4th & 5th pics: are where both end of hoses connected to that used the bottom passage of the black thingy..
so.. any ideas or suggestion?

All of those extra pips you see are made for the stock air intake. Since you have an aftermarket one, you need a long tube (stevenDAtegra's tube is in red, not the intake tube, but the smaller one if you are looking at it). There are 2 holes in your intake tube, the small one should connects to the intake manifold (which you got down) and the big one connects to the valve cover (which you are missing).

also, should there be an IAT sensor connected to the intake?
