help installing alarm for 92 GSR
i got a 92 gsr and planning to install an alarm at home. i found some diagram telling me what color the wires are, but there is still a few wires i don't know the color for:
1. Right Turning Light (+)
2. Left Turning Light (+)
3. Door Positive Trigger (+)
4. Door Negative Trigger (-)
5. Hand Break (-)
6. Power Window (-)
7. Trunk (+)
it would be great if anyone can tell me what color each of those wires are and where i can find them.
also, a side question. the diagram for the alarm unit i have shows 1 wire for "Door Trigger" and then it shows 2 more wires for "Door Positive/Negative Trigger"
3 wires total for door trigger, so my question is if these connect to the same wire from the car or are they all separate wires, if so, i would need to know which and where those wires are.
thank you

As for you lights you can use the terminal at the fuse box under the dash there should be 3 male one for parking lights, ignition, constant. Or red/green which runs along the top of fuse box or at the kick. It should show a positive when you turn on the parking lights.
For the doors it should be green/red running on top of fuse box or can be found in the kick. It should show a negative when you open the doors.
Trunk is green/black and runs along the kick panel. It should show a negative when you open the trunk.
Take off the cover for the hand brake and you will see a single wire to the brake. Should show a negative when pulled or the other way around.
As for windows maybe someone can chime in.

Make and model of alarm?
You do not need the left and right "turning lights", use the park light circuit, as mentioned at the free pins on the under dash fuse box.
The door "trigger" on your GSR is a neg.(-), the alarms pos.(+) door trigger lead is not needed.
The trunk/hatch trigger is also a neg.(-).
Here is a "tag in" sheet for your car... http://64.85.6.121/diagrams/printpag...12667&MakeID=6
Keep in mind there is always more then one place to connect an alarms wiring to the cars wiring and you should test any car wire to confirm it is the correct wire for what you want.
Feel free to PM me if you have questions. 94

i just got a 91 teg and just finished putting an alarm in it. best place for the door trigger is the bundle of wires below the drivers kick panel and you only need the neg door trigger wire. Also just use your parking lights instead of the turn signal. depending on the alarm you have you may need a few relays
