Default QUESTION FOR turbo ludes!!

is it nessary to run a 1 step colder plug when boosting 7psi? i know its helpful to prevent detonation, but would i have 2?
also what part number for NGK PLATINUM? for the 5th gen lude h22a4,
and what web site is the best place to get them from?

yes you have to run colder plugs for turbo, run a 7 series plug and youll be fine. Do not run a platinum plug, it is not good for turbo. On my h23a i run the ngk-brk7e11's i believe if thats any help to you. Go to advanced auto and get them, they run like 8 bucks or so for a set.

Yes you can use those plugs or the ones that are oem for the 92-96 vtec, which are zfr7f-11's, and are one step colder.

Copper plugs are the way to go. You will want to change them every few months, or check them over at least.

never check your plugs after the car idles!!!
