I have the F23a1 SOHC engine, I was wondering if i already have the AEM EMS standalone, is there any benefit to having an AEM tru-time cam gear? not taking the price in consideration. I will build my motor eventually.

With a stock motor, the benefits to the ems and a camgear are going to be very limited. The stock honda ecu does a good job for a completely stock f23a1.

Down the road with a camshaft & other major modifications, a cam gear would be ideal.

I am already boosted with the AEM EMS Standalone, i dont use the stock ecu anymore. In the AEM ems you can adjust the timing in their, so AGAIN would their be any benefit of installing a tru-time cam gear?

Yes your ignition timing and cam timing is two completely different things. Now if you had a K-Series than it would be a different ball game (well depending on the cam). You will see some gains with the cam gear just don't expect anything out of this world if the cam is stock, no milled head amongst other things.
