Build the zc. This way you don't have to buy mounts and etc. Slap some p29's in it, a good cam and get the head ported. And after all that its still cheaper (and more powerfull) then swapping a b16.

Is this the DOHC ZC or the SOHC ZC? If it's the DOHC it already has pm7/p29 pistons in it, they are both the same dome, but if it's the SOHC zc then yes throw the p29's in it and rock that for awhile. SOHC ZC + p29's = pretty fun all motor D series.

It all depends on your plans for the car. As far as I know the A6 (sohc zc) has the best bottom end out of all the D's. So just keep your stock bottom end + some arp rod bolts and some new bearings/journels and you should be golden.

Hey just finished my build using stock OEM Honda parts. Used zc pistons from a sohc with y8 head and gasket with a 1.5 block also milled the head made 160 whp with no vtec and stock can cost me about 500. And the arp kit cost me 200 I suggest doing this build so much better they a b16 mad 12.98:1 comp
