Default b20a5 in a crx

i have my old b20a5 in my garage when i was really into 3rd gen preludes, is there a possible mount kit for this? this engine would be very fun since i have lots of performance parts on it already.

sell it to a prelude guy and just buy another motor. it could be done if you just want to be different and dont mind spending alot of money and time. that motor is more like an f series than a b in the grand scheme of things.

I don't think that anyone makes mounts to put the B20A5 motor in a CRX. At least none that i have found. Someone had made a thread asking about the same thing you did, but pretty much the majority in that thread **** talked the idea. Anything is possibly. I have an 88 Lude, and i found an 89 and 87 that a guy wants 800.00 for the both of them. I was entertaining the idea of a B20A5 in my CRX, as well. I have a welder, so i can make my own mounts. IF i do decide to go that route, i will be more than happy to make a thread on the install and construction of the mounts. For those that are "make it myself" savvy, i'll post the dimensions of the material and how i put them together. For those not so savvy, i may make some mount kits to sell. For an inexpensive price. Not like Hasport or Place Racing. They're a little expensive. Of course, they have overhead to deal with. I won't. Anyway. Best i can tell you is do your research and then decide if you really wanna do it. I'm seriously thinking about doing it. It's a great motor. Any true 3G Prelude enthusiast will tell you the same. I love that motor. It's just a shame there's not a lot out there for it, but i have found some stuff. Even internals. Amazingly enough.

just sell it and go with something that fits, that motor isnt the best to maintain nor get parts for.

If you let all the naysayers sway you from trying this, i'll be glad to buy your B20A5 off of you. I have an 88 Lude, and i'd love to have a spare motor. Plus, i've been thinking about trying to drop a B20A5 into my CRX, as well. Let me know. By the way, what kinds of performance parts do you have on the motor, and where did you get them from? I haven't tried to search for any performance parts for those motors for a while. I should still have some bookmarked.

there isnt a big aftermarket the the motor. if you have the money you can do custom parts for it . you can do a port and polish to the head. its all trial an error.... like i said before its really not worth the money or the time
