What mods are done to necessitate the higher redline? I hate to tell you this, but if you really don't know what all is involved in chipping an ecu, you should really leave that up to the professionals. If not done properly, you could mess up the parameters in which the engine runs off of thus damaging your motor.

Is the motor stock, why not run the stock ecu? What mods necessitate the use of the P28 ecu - is the ecu even socketed?

Why would you remove your stock ecu for SOHC ecu....comon! You can chip what ever ecu you have...This noobie...But first your car must be modified, not just a rice can exhaust and an ebay header and intake.....hahaha! to funny!
