Default Noob shift light question.

I just bought a autometer shift light for my 2000 civic ex coupe. It has a boosted B18c in it.

there's a red, black, and green wires. I know red=power, and black=ground.

where in detail does the green wire go to.

I am running s300. I was hoping there was away to tap into the wiring harness.

PLEASE any help would work.

sorry again for the noob question, but i have searched the whole site.

OP: I have basically the same build as you, have you had any problems with your spark wires falling off the distribution cap? I have one that falls off at least once every time I drive it.

Or does anyone else have this problem?

wow...wires falling off??? either need new wires or dizzy cap. sounds like either one is so wore that they dont clip on or the inside of the wire that connects is bent...

at one time, i did get into a high RPM and one on the wires to the distributor did pop off. I just kinda pinched the connector i bit and when i put it on. I neatly zip tied all the connectors
