loss of power and fuel pump Q's
i swapped an LS in to my 91 civic STD, and it pulls pretty good in the low rpm's but when you get to around 4-5k it doesnt have nearly as much pull. i do have to adjust my valves so that might be part of my problem, what are some other reasons for loss of power in the high rpm's?
second, i do drive the lowest model civic so i was wondering if i could be maxing out my fuel pump or are the fuel pumps all the same between the STD, DX, and SI models? cuz my friend had a b16 swapped CRX SI and didnt have any problems

I think its just your motor. You are near your peak TQ in that 4-5k range. The LS has no top end. Unless the drop in power is very pronounced i would not be worried about it.
it is pretty noticeable. i do have a skunk2 intake on with shorter runners, so that might be hurting me. im going to put the stock one on and see what happens, might fix my idle issue anyways
Yes the fuel pumps are the same in the STD than the Si according to Advance Auto Parts website, they have the same part numbers for it anyways.
You have to drop the tank on hatches yes to replace the fuel pump, it's only like 8 bolts and some clamps.
Which ECU are you running? Is the motor OBD0 or OBD1?
