Icon3 OBD1 B20VTEC in OBD2 DC?

I've got an OBD2 B20 block, mated to an OBD1 GSR head. This is going into my OBD2 (96) Integra.

I will eventually convert to be OBD2 compliant, but not right away, unless I have to.

My question is, will my OBD1 ECU plug into my OBD2 wiring, and will my OBD1 engine harness, plug into my OBD2 bay harness?

I don't care about emissions yet, just getting the car running. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

To hopefully make this easier, I have:

1996 OBD2 Integra (dash harness, bay harness)
1997 OBD2 B20 block
1994 OBD1 GSR head
1993 OBD1 Del Sol Si motor harness
1995 OBD1 GSR ECU

I thought 96 integras are OBD1, and 97 and up are OBD2!! Anyways... You will need a conversion harness to be able to use an OBD1 ecu in an OBD2 car. As for the engine harness... I think you will need an OBD2 harness since the wiring harness has to match the car not the motor. I have a 97 integra with a B20vtec and I'm using an OBD2a to OBD1 jumper harness and an LS OBD2 engine harness. The only thing I had to do was rewire the dizzy plugs and run two wires for vtec.

You should really do some search

Why go obd2 later for when you're using obd1 dizzy. I mean you could but 0bd1 is better IMO

Your gonna need obd2A-obd1 converison jumper harrness for obd1 ecu to work.

If you are using an obd1 dizzy your gonna have to use obd1 distributor, alternator, injector uless you do a converison for the clip or buy it.

Hey i just got finished up with this conversion yesterday,i dropped a gsr in my ls 2000

you need to get obd2 alternator,obd2 injectors and convert your obd1 dizzy plug to the obd2 plug, then get a jumper harness,obd2 to obd1 and connect your obd1 ecu in,after that if your car isnt wire for vtec you will need to run the vtec solenoid wire and vtec pressure wire to the ecu and your set

Okay, so I got my B20VTEC in my LS S.E. and got it to run. Not sure if VTEC engages yet though because my car doesn't have its axels in yet.

I used:

OBD1 Dizzy with an adapter from Password JDM

OBD2 GSR Injectors

OBD2 GSR wiring harness

OBD2 GSR Alternator

OBD2 GSR ECU

Question though: If I have a GSR harness, GSR ECU, and GSR head (obviously) it's all just plug and play for my Non VTEC Integra correct?
