Getting my new front end, the honda domani front end and i'm going carbon fiber.
Anyone know if VIS is a good quality cf hood?? or any best bang for the buck? thanks.

 

I have a VIS hood and i like it alot. I also had seibon and the fitment was a little off.

 

VIS is good, that was my first carbon fiber hood on my EM1, but i also like Invidia better but VIS is not bad at all, just check it really good for any cracks when you get it, and if the box is damaged dont sign for it.

 

My Vis hood came with wrinkles in one spot. When I did some research I found that this was normal and sometimes they come out this way. I still hate the wrinkle so make sure whoever you order from that they do a check on it for defects.

if u want quality get the vis... boo koo light,i love mine and its on my coupe; but i think the 4 door version has better fitment. my buddy has a 2door one on his hatch and its short by the headlights.

 

could be short if its a 99-00 and its got a 96-98 hood. It will leave open spots behind the lights and the tips that curl around the grill will hit it instead of wrapping around.

 

no its 5g vis stuff, it says 92civ2d on his (eh3) and 92civ4d on mine (ej1)... mine fits better.

 

does anyone know where to get this for a domani hood?

ViS makes good stuff. i once had a cf hood, trunk and wing on my 98 lude and fitment and weave was perfect. also very flexible, durable and super light

 

VIS = HAWT GARBAGE..can u call a VIS hood carbon fiber?? its one layer of carbon fiber and fiberglass underneath..and yellows pretty quick if its in sunlight..
