Default 98 Civic EX brake/rotor problems

Ok so heres the whats going on...for about the last 2 years i started noticing my car shakes like crazy whenever i brake (this has caused me to downshift and brake all the time now) soo even when i downshift my car still shakes which freaks my gf out btw.

so is it time to change my rotors? They've been shaved twice already!

my brakes are still good fyi.

and are slotted rotors really worth the money?

any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Get something like Brembo blanks and good brake pads. It soulds like your rotors are warped, sometimes having them cut or "shaved" does not do the trick when they are badly warped.

i would try new standard rotors and pads, it shouldn't shake with that and if it does then it probly isn't the brakes making it shake

If you change the rotors, you have to change the brake pads as well. So I say if it's not that bad, wait until the pads are worn out and then change the rotors and the pads together.
