gen 1 crv problem
replaced my iacv, twice, it was bad when I got the car. (first one used, second one brand new from the dealer). The problem is when the headlights are on the idle drops. As it gets warmer outside, the idle has dropped a bit. Turn the a/c on and the idle drops more, it's not re-adjusting at all. The a/c doesnt even work when the car is stopped becasue the idle is low, and the compressor kicks on and off.
I swapped out something in the engine fuse box (cant remember what it's called right now) thinking maybe I had a voltage adjustment problem, but no luck. I think the idle screw is set all the way open as well. (Again the way it was when I got the car). If I remember right I almost completely got the idle screw back to normal with some throttle cable adjustments, but I'm stumped.
Any ideas?

yeah, alternator is fine, and i thought the valves, so i redid them again, but not it. It must be something with the iacv becasue if I unplug it, no engine light, no change in idle!
nope. I even have extra grounds, and all the stock grounds I replaced with 4 guage black rockford ground wire and gold/titanium ring terminals. I have been doing the "hyper ground" thing for YEARS before they started selling that crap.
I adjusted the idle screw a 1/4 turn to bump it up a bit, so now it's not so rough sitting at a light.
