No TSX suspension would not work.

Just get Koni + GC. Call up GC they can recommend spring rates for your application and plans for the car (drag, autox, road course, etc).

Why do people think that because they are using a motor that weighs less than 100 more than normal they have to use some crazy heavy duty suspension?

Any front springs with higher than stock rates would be fine.

After seeing brand new in boxed shocks shipped that are leaking I think I would stay away from overly priced made in china brands. Besides the OP said he is trying to do this on a budget. Maybe Skunk2 Pro S, even though made in China they have been around a lot longer than most of these other companies. That's if your not trying to spend too much $$. I myself am going with Koni/Skunks with GC top hats in the front. If your really looking to save $$ then maybe Koni strt with Eibach's?

I actually never owned a set of illumina's, I wouldn't see why not. But for 100 bucks more why not get lifetime warranty?
