Default Input with NON-VTEC motor with old VTEC harness

So I posted before about dropping my B20 into my Integra awhile ago. I know I am needing all the OBD1 parts such as alternator, injectors, fuel rail, etc. The motor that used to be in the car was a OBD1 B16a3. My question is, will there be any complications since I am dropping a Non-Vtec motor into the car with the old wiring harness that ran my B16? I know there will be some connectors hanging such as what ran to the VTEC solenoid, but will there be any kind of problems when I am plugging this all up? What do I do with the VTEC wire into the ECU?

ANY help/input is appreciated, and would like some useful stuff though. I'd like to get my car back up and running soon.

Here are specs of B20 if anyone is interested :

B20Z
62404-2 404 LS/B20 Cams
84162 DUAL SPRING & TI RETAINERS
97408I-8 Intake valve with .5mm oversize

97408E-8 Exhaust valve with .5mm oversize

Stock Cam Gears
Stock Block
Full Race Port Polish

Port Match intake mani. (LS)

Head Milled .5
Compression is ruff. 10 to 1 or so

I figured, I just didn't know if all the excess plugs would cause any problems. Will I be throwing a CEL for these then?

"Dropping non-VTEC motor with old wiring harness" is a lot more specific than "Needing some input", and gives those viewing the topic titles an idea of what it's about.

Assuming you'll be using the proper ecu, codes shouldn't be an issue with unused vtec plugs

I am using a chipped Pr4 ecu with the tune already for the setup.

Thanks for changing topic title.

Using a VTEC harness on a non-VTEC equipped motor is fine, so long as you have the corresponding ECU to your motor.
