center/bottom mount srt intake manifold.....
i made this for a 1gn neon owner with an srt swap. ive been wanting to do a desgin like this for about 2 years now but never got the time or materials. so when the customer contacted me i was all for it. i still need to get the mani machined for the injector bungs and then weld them in and do the rail mounts also. anyways heres the pics thus far........ it will probably be a week or so before i get the finished pics up.

the fab looks fantastic... but i can't help but wonder how much thought/research people put into the design of their intake manifolds. i understand the same thing applies to turbo exhaust manifolds, but in most cases, turbo manifolds are built around the "make it fit" principle. any aftermarket intake manifold should have atleast enough room to play with that the oem manifold sits in, so i feel there is room for improvement. i have no idea what this is replacing, but i feel the design could be improved. it looks like there are too many sharp edges inside.

yeah, sorry for coming off as an asshat. i'm building something soon and here is what i'm using for inspiration:

i'd really like to open a discussion here on good intake manifold design, or have someone point me in the direction where there might already be a good discussion on it. i'm having trouble finding in depth information beyond the basics.
