All,

Need some help. I have a strange issue with my 99 Accord Coupe V6. Today, following lights on my dashboard came on:

- Left/Right door
- Trunk
- Battery
- Brake

The strange thing is that it goes away during driving. It re-appears when I stop. I have checked the fuses (under the hood and left/right panel) and they are okay. I am stumped!

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

its most likely the alternator. V6 accord of this generation tends to have that problem. whenever people see that, they freak out. I would go with a honda genuine reman. The reason behind it is that honda may have known about the issue and applied the repair to their parts to solve the problem. This is true with their transmission, thats why their remans are better than what came with the car you purchased.

 

Yip! Alternator alright. I bough one (genuine) from my cousin's chop show for $25 man. Installed it and works.

The only thing is I notice louder engine noise.
