In the applications for that exhaust I haven't seen anyone listing EG2, which is the Del Sol VTEC. They list EG6, EG9, DC2, and DC5 applications - that's it.

The few pictures I've seen show the exhaust bending the wrong way (up instead of down) behind the muffler, but &*(@#&$*(@# nobody lists pictures of actual parts nowadays.

They do list an EG2 application for the Pro Spec series. Note that the B-pipe on the EG2 is shorter than Del Sol S/Si, so you would have to create an intermediate pipe.

I'm probably not the best person to ask on exhaust opinions since I've had the OEM exhaust on mine for 12 years now. The muffler has slowly been dying so I plunked down $75 at Autozone for an OEM-style Bosal unit today.

I'm between jobs and failed my emissions test due to the noise, so it's not like I have a whole lot of options. (sigh)

I have a '93 del sol and it got wrecked so I needed an exhaust and I couldnt find one that I liked and there were alot I liked but was told that they wouldnt fit so what I did was went to a place highly regarded for making custom exhausts told them exactly what I wanted noise wise, sound wise, size wise, and look wise and they fit that perfect as a fellow del sol owner I think this is your best bet because it lets you get exactly what you want in an exhaust. I could not be happier with mine and I paid a whole heck of a lot less than I would have buying some of the ones that I was looking at. I paid like $215 for a cat back.

Why do you want your car loud? Changing your exhaust to increase the noise level is never a good idea. Look into the Apex'i WS2 for a nice deep sound, but a fairly oem look. Also it is fairly quiet. Even though the loud noise may seem cool at first...it will slowly **** you off beyond belief. Good luck!

Here you go it is 2.5 inches from the cat back with a 3 inch tip. I really did not want a coffee can muffler I am not a fan at all of them and I am really impressed with this exhaust.

Ya thats the whole point its 2.5 inch the whole way from the cat back with a 3 inch tip and the muffler is a performance muffler it just looks stock which is what I wanted because I do not like the coffee can mufflers and I wanted an exhaust that was going to give better performance and better sound and thats what I got and I only paid $200 and I like the fact of being able to go have it made and where I got it done you can get whatever you want you tell them and they make it and for the price i didnt care about stainless because if it only lasts 5 years I can go get another one and change it this time if I want. It may look generic but im telling you its not I am very impressed with how it turned out.

ya ur right it does look OEMish because of the muffler being a regular style i didnt think you were hating on it I just didnt want people to think I just stuck a tip on an OEM exhaust. For the money I spent I am very pleased it produces a very nice sporty sound not to loud and overbearing i dont get tired of hearing it and it produces noticable power well from the switch from OEM there are probably more out there that produce more power but I love it for $200.
