Hey guys. I'm prepping my 1990 EF for paint, and replacing all damaged panels. I need a new hood, new filler piece above the front bumper, and new headlights/corners.

I know some things are different between 88/89 and 90/91. I've found parts on an 88 or 89 (can't remember), but which of them can I actually use?

i know you cant use foe doe parts on a hatch, or crx parts on a foe doe or hatch. well, actually you could, but you would be just converting the whole front end to a crx.

 

is your ef 90-91 model? or 89-90 model? just look at the moldings for an indent and you can tell from that. if your car is a 88-90 model then you can use the 88 style bumper and filler as to be consistant with the rest of your car. but if you dont care about being consistant then you can use any parts that you want

 

as far as the hood filler piece and front bumpers they are interchangeable between 88 to 91 just the different styles between the years will differ if using 88-89 bumper your gonna need its respective turn signal bumper lights , if you use 88 to 89 fenders you need the 88,89 corner lights as far as the headlights themselves they should work between the 88 to 91 years

hoods are interchangeable through out 88-91 between crx's and hatch backs. sedans are different. fenders are model specific (you can intermix 88-91 fenders, but you can't put crx fenders on a hatch or a sedan, etc.) headlights on a hatch/ sedan are the same from 88-89, and then 90-91 are the same. the glass is interchange able between all four years, and so are the lights but you have to retain the clips on the fenders. not sure about crx's

 

i used to have a couple of rex's and i never thought about testing this out before, i would assume they would fit with small to no modifications

I have a 90-91. I have 91 Fenders, and a 91 front bumper. Just needed to know which hood and filler piece to use. Oh and the headlights.

So i need 90-91 headlights, but can use any hood/filler from 88-91 yeah?
