help with piston to bore clearance

Default help with piston to bore clearance

iv got a brand new short block and the plan was to run 12.5cr 81mm je pistons. now the problem is that the engine shop said Every 81mm or infact any stock bore piston combination is differcult to get the desired clearance. can anyone comfirm if that true with using a brand new short block. need the experts helps

The shop won't know that until they measure the actual bores and the actual pistons.

That being said, the "shop" will just have to deal with it.

That's just the way it is ... unless you want to get some "oversized" (81.25 mm) pistons and have the shop bore the cylinders accordingly!

What's the problem/question? No, really?
