Just how important is the flat baffle in the top of valve cover? I assume it serves a purpose, but is it detrimental to run without one? Dude who sand blasted and powder coated my valve cover removed and proceeded to loose it. TIA

 

i wouldnt run it. if your cams dont get proper oil....sux for you. ive seen a cam come out because of that. right out the top. looked cool to me but not for him
