Hey thinking about getting rid of the side molding on my car I dont like the black on a white car .... how much did people pay to shave theirs ?

 

well its not just the shaving its the painting that gets expensive too, i just did mine. i paid 1200 to shave everything and for a whole respray. if you dont respray and just paint the door and quarter the color wont match plus the price difference isnt that much.

i payed $3200.00 to get all my dents fixed and shaved everthing (molding, door handles) mold my wings west r.s. lips on and paint the whols car custom blue

 

My friend got his for $1300, but it was also to fix the corner of his car he had wrecked. It wasn't a total respray on the car though,

depends on what you want... I paid $400 for:
Shaved emblem/license plate plugs on front bumper
Shaved keyholes on door handles
Shaved emblems on rear hatch
Shaved keyhole in rear
Of course, whole re-spray of all the parts... and he even re-sprayed my chipped front lip with the leftover paint!

 

thats a pretty good price.

I got quoted about $500 for the back hatch, and trunk keyhole on my teg. I might get cut a deal tho, dunno...car is also in the shop cause a stupid girl hit my car, heh.

 

where did you go to get it done?

 

I got it done in So-Cal... much more cheaper down there... and they do a good job to boot. PJ Bonifacio's shop! Took about a week.
