Default Car Keyed

I street park my car and today, first vandalism occured to my car. Wow, someone acutally keying the whole door of my driver's side door. WTF? I never have a reputation of being nasty to anyone around my neighborhood, but still, It was done. I just have no mercy for people that kills the car that you have put soo much love in to. I just had to share beacuse I really really was thinking about setting the whole block on fire.......haha, jokes.....
Is there any ways of just painting the keyed part of the paint? I would love to get some advise on how to get rid of the keyed scrathes. Yes, the paint is gone and i can see the white part underneath it. If there are any tips, please let me know. Thanks!

ouch... that really sucks! some people just have no respect for a man and his car

anyway, as for your car, you should bring it to a shop... this is no job for touch up paint.

same thing happen to me on the rear passenger quarter panel. So deep that i can see the silver metal underneath the FBP paint. So MESSED UP!.....i tried to touch it up, was a bit better, BUT u can still see it....if it was to be painted....they would have to paint a certain amount of area.....so its not possible just to paint that paint only.

Temp fix,
Find a crayon near the color of your car, fill in the scrathes. Use a good wax buff the crayon out, It will las t a couple of weeks. Works well in nicks ect, but i never tried it for a keyed car. Soomebody got me a few weeks back. Took Me four hours to buff it out and it still shows when the car isnt freshly waxed. Make sure you find folks inyour area with imports see who they recomend. Go to the shop and givem props from (with the red hatch) then they will usually cut you a deal and remember you. Then get the color and brand paint they used ,keep it on file then they will be able to hook you up next time. My buddy had the entire side keyed on his POS Hyundai. It only costed like 250 He keeps a pint of paint handy. looked great. Good luck.....
and there are a lot of haters, but most of them are afiliated, go DFH stay away from rival groups.

Thanks for everyones reply. Ahh, I feel that everyone is very understanding in terms of getting their car damaged. I guess I do have to move on and find a good paint job place to detail the scratched. I have temporary filled in the scratches with the touch up paint and it does not stand out as much as it was before. Thanks for everyones support!!! i really appriciate it!

if you used t/u paint get some dupont 1500s or 3m micro finidhing compound and buff it. It is used to blend orange peel and sags works really good. Just get a small tube if you can find it.

DAMNIT i hate ppl who think that their cool cause they can make you feel so low by ruining your prized possession. I have a black integra and it was parked in my friends driveway, his cousin had some friends over and i walk out the next morning and their are scratches and dents all over the car. I called my insurance company they gave me 1800 for it, now im takin it to my cousin and hs paintingit Supersonic Blue Pearl for 650 bucks. Gotta love family.

I feel sooooo bad for you! You can't ever have anything nice without some a#@hole screwing with it. My boyfriend had a civi that was raaaadddd. Some kids stole it from my driveway and totaled it. They just wanted the parts, which didn't even fit the suckers car anyways! Sorry again.

Wow, I guess everyone has gone though the same stage then. Haha, well I guess we are one of the community that are anti-rice and anti-altezzas and probably one of the more quieter looking people. But our spirit are the best ones out of all others. Anyways before I get in to like spiritual crap, thanks everyone for the support.
I had my car backed in to 3 times on the same street, move on to other street, got my car stolen, and moved on to another street, and then I got my car keyed. Now I am parking 3 blocks away from my aprtment......what a life. But you know what, I still love my car and proud to be an primative EG styled civic
