Default Need some help on EK4

Lately I just bought a pair of EK4 seats with an electrically controlled driver seat. Unfortunately, when I tried to hook up the driver's side electrical connector, the connectors turned out to be different sizes. The 'female' plug on the seat side is larger with 4pins and the 'male' connector coming from the floor mat is smaller with only 2pins. Has there been a revision on the connector or the 2pin plug was for a manual operated seat with a seat belt in/out indicator?

Is there any chance I can wire it to work?

OP, what country are you in?

I'm guessing the car these seats are going into has a plug under the driver's seat meant to alert the car if the driver is not buckled in, but noting else. The new seats have an additional power option, so the plug is different.

it's for you're seatbelt

try looking up the schematics for the seat plug, and maybe you can wire the seat up with some spade connectors and wire

ps how much did you pay for them if you don't mind.
I've been looking for ek4 rear seats for a good price

It's going to be pretty hard to get wiring schematics for those seats, as no 96-00 Civic (US) I know of has power controlled seats. Best bet is that two wires are for the seat belt sensor, and the other are for the power controls. I'm willing to bet they're wired to a relay as well.

You can try http://hondatech.info/downloads/Auto/Manuals/Civic/

Thank you guys for the help, but I was told from the previous owner of the seats that the power control wire goes to the fuse box. I checked my fuse box, but there are no empty sockets. He got his mechanic to trace the wire from the connector at the floorboard and part of it ended up at the fuse box. Unbelievably the mechanic just cut the wires. I have not seen the wire but he will be handing it over to me tomorrow. Will keep you guys posted.
