Default EG w/d16y8 help

Aight i swear i searched and nobody had a similiar problem like mine. I just dropped a d16y8 in my 94 Si and everything is all good except when i first start in the morning or after its been sitting for a while. I start it the rpms go up like normal then they drop back down and the car shuts down. I turn it back on but i give it gas so it wont die and i have to drive it out until it gets to normal temperature then the car is fine. SOmeone help me out

If it was a clutch problem the issue wouldn't go away after the engine warmed up

yo is it freezing cold out there right now, because it might be a problem due to weather. check and make sure you have all the right fluids for the season... sounds dumb but i have heard of the problem before due to weather

try to clean it first or if you have one laying around........., check your vacuum hoses as well,or even your fuel filter. i delt with every problem on my own 98 civic... I went from dx to ex and had every fuken problem... and did a job for a homie and got a b20 for free... sooooooo... but anyways let me know what next step you wanna try if doesnt fix, try to clean out the injectors as well

They're probably trying to get their post count up in order to get off trial status.

Or maybe kids these days can't think very far ahead.

Or maybe a little from column A and a little from column B.
