i have a 92 integra hatch with a jdm b16a setup. i put on a 95 gsr transmission and now that its gettin hot, it starts to pop out of gear. it only happens in 5th gear no matter what rpm or speed, ONLY IN 5TH. any ideas?

 

definitaly maku sure tranny oil is @ proper level

 

the tranny could be just messed up make sure when u put the oil in that u have the car run throgh all the gears somtimes when u take a tranny out the oil left in it makes it stickky so just make sure u do that, integra hatch is a Da 1992 ls/gs/gsr?

 

does it grind at all or is it smooth shifting, if it shifts smoothly then these guys are probly correct in telling you it's the fluid

Check your linkage is working correctly, if it isn't shoving it in far enough it will slip out.
Check for warn bushing in the lever and linkage mounting points underneath.

 

shift linkage could be going bad.. my 95 teg had the same problem
