so i posted something yesterday but i need to revise my question, k i got a 1999 EK coupe DX engine died, i bought a y8 out of a 1999 Acura EL with engine harness, but im not sure what ECU to use or what i can do with that i know for a civic i should get a OB2DB out of a EX but will that work with the engine harness that the Y8 came with from the EL?????? im getting a bit confused with this all i live in Canada BC lower mainland so if anyone has something pls help !!!!!!!!!!

 

Both cars are a 99 which means both are obd2b. Use the ECU made for the motor you are putting in. Both ECU's will plug right in to either harness as well.

 

^^ yep, you dont wanna use the y7 ecu she wont be right, use the y8 ecu
