Does anyone know of a way to bring back the shine of a Carbon Fiber hood besides wax or Polishing compound ??? My hood is fading fast, and I would like to make it presentable if possible. Any help would greatly be appreciated . . .

 

wet sand it, with a high grit paper, and re shoot the clear coat.

Maguires 3 step clean, polish, and wax worked well for my cf hood. I did wax it 3 times, though. If that doesn't work, do what 'coryfenton' mentioned...wet sand with a 1500, wash and dry, use wax and grease remover, tack cloth, then re-clear it. Don't wash for 30 days, then buff and wax it.

 

May try buffing it with some cutting cream...
