Chris would definitely not do something like that for no reason.
It is ugly but I bet it puts a lot of downforce on the frontend.

oh nooo...... I can see ebay popping up with some of these front spoiler kits pretty soon.
Don't get me wrong, it if works it works. I'm all for that. I just don't want to see become a fad for street cars.

Function over form? I think thats the correct phrase... If I was gonna run dual spoilers, I'd do it up Mad Max style; on the ROOF!
Without the front spoiler that car would look SICK! Even with the rear wing.. I'm sure the car has the power to back it up.
What makes that car look so good is the molded in fender flares.

Hey guys im one of Chris's employees and crew on the time attack tC with the big wing. The problem with the wing in the picture is it is not in fresh clean air. Anyways. We put the wing up so high in the was to get the cleanest air possible. If you put the wing low you take away the downforce that is made by the race cars body its self and we need as much as we can. The car makes 1000+ to the flywheel. It is pretty much a drag car that turns and brakes :D BTW we don't think it is the most spectacular thing out there. It is functional and that is what matters to us. If painting the car pink made the car faster you could bet your entire bank account that our race car would be bright pink
It's a race car. All bets are off asthetically. As for why the front, why put drag slicks on the front? Because that's where the power is. The weight, and therefore the traction, is being shifted to the rear upon lauch, so you want to do all you can to keep the weigh (downforce) on the front.

Thats so ugly. But if it works it works. And I hope we dont start seeing them on street cars or in any movies.
Well that shows how much I know. I haven't particularly been following the drag racing scene, and last I saw it was still FWD. It's still a race car, what makes it faster is what will be used.
