Default question about swap. simple but im confused

hey guys my buddy just got a b16 from a Honda Integra RSi/XSi 89-93 which is oviously ODB1. he is having a hard time figuring out how to swap it in his 94 si civic. He wants to sell it kuz he think is going to be a bitch to swap but i told him that for the price 1000$ he should keep it and research. he is pretty new to this and dont know where to ask. what is he gonna do to swap this.

i read about buying a dizzy but then what about the harness. he is got a d16z6 which i was wondering if he could use the harness? please advise

It depends on what year the engine is. '89-'91 is OBD0 and '92-'93 is OBD1. Obviously the '92-'93 engine, ECU, and wiring will be easier to work with. Another thing to deal with is the transmission. The transmission that comes with that specific engine is a cable one, where his car is a hydraulic one. So either your friend is going to ha ve to find a hydro B-series transmission (shiftlinkage and axles as well), or he'll have to buy a special mount kit to make the cable transmission work.
