anyone know where to buy this stuff? i recently picked up a set of OEM floor mats that dont have wear but are the wrong color and i would like to dye/paint them.

you can get spray die from autozone. i got some die from the chemical truck that comes up to my job. we use it to cover up carpet stains.

 

I got my carpet paint from autozone (i think they have it at walmart to) u need about 3 cans (put it on thick) it looks great i highly recamend it, my carpet looks brand new

 

hey i painted my whole carpet and all i used was the .98cent stuff from wallmart and it worked fine also i tried rit dye going from blue to black and it did not work

This is ironic this post is up since im doing this right now.......well somewhat...the same thing...

I pulled out my interior like a month after I bought my crx( it was all blue) since then Ive replaced the seats with Black 90 SI seats, Black 90 SI dash, Black 89 SI doors and panels, and I have Black SI floormats.....I also ripped out the carpet and painted all the white open metal.....flat black....Im getting sick of the gutted interior...and want everything to look nice again....

I have about 5 cans of that black vinyl crap made by dupont for seats and dashboards.......so I went to work on all my back panels....and its worked absolutely great...looks brand new like factory.....well then I got bored and decided to spray the lil secret agent compartment box behind the seat and the two side compartments that sit next to it on each side.......I sprayed the carpet and everything about 8 hours ago....and I just went and rubbed my hand all over it still nothing flaked off and its still soft and dry....not hard and crisp.....

The only thing I need now is to make sure it doesnt fade......and im going to buy Brand new black molded carpet cause I threw mine away.....

BTW: this stuff is like 1 dollar a can.....and so far ive used it on everyhting and it works great.

for $135 I am buying brand new molded to my floorpan carpet. I hate my nasty tan interior and my nasty tan carpet and my nasty tan plastic panels.

Its all going to black.
