b18c first time with race gas???
I race in the CCTCC (www.touringcar.ca) with a B18C J-Spec Type R motor, Stock short block, head mild 0.020", OE HGasket, OE TB, AEBS Ported Intake, Mild ported CTR head, Toda Spec B cams and a Rage Tri-Y small tube header.
Currently I'm tuned with 94octane gas wich gives me 202whp 130ft-lbs on a mustang dyno...only at 25 degrees of timing at WOT with 17.5 degrees on the dizzy (I got it tuned with OBD2 Prelude injectors and I was at 94% duty cycle...now going to rc 440)
What gas works great with B-Series with my 11.7:1 Comp (looking to push more timing so I'm assuming 100-104 octane)
Thanks

SOunds good to keep detonation at bay. E85 is still rare and would require a retune, but 100-104 should be fine.. So what's your question?
Trying to find out if there is certain makes of gas that work better then others and if I should change anything else for reliability with the race gas...also what kind of timing I should end up with?
Thanks
Thanks
